My version of Tartar sauce:


Fish is great with tomato sauce or Tartar sauce which goes well on chips as well

You need a chopping board and a sharp knife plus a mixing bowl

Cappers: 2-3 teaspoons
Shallots: 3-4
wasabi powder: half a teaspoon
salt: Pinch or 2
Mayonnaise (brand to be decided)

Preparation time 15 minutes, cooking time 2-3 minutes


Finely chop you shallots as fine as you can manage then place in the mixing bowl

Then add about half a cup of plan mayonnaise (or as much as you want to make but the more you need to adjust the level of ingredients)

Mix the finely chopped shallots well and add salt and wasabi powder then mix well, you can cover and refrigerate and serve when you the fish and chips are ready.
